Cebu is the first point where the journey will start to come to Bantayan island.. If you want to come from Manila you should fly to Cebu. After arriving in Cebu, you must go to Cebu North Bus Terminal. North Bus Terminal is only 3 km from Cebu port. Never force yourself to go cheap, I will wait for nothing.. take a taxi. We took a taxi from the port to 100 php.
After arriving at the terminal, take the bus to Hagnaya.
There are non-air-conditioned buses on the left side of the terminal and air-conditioned ones on the right. Air-conditioned ones also have free wi-fi service.. We had to go by bus without air conditioning because there was no room in the air conditioner.. Bus fare : 132 PHP
Although the air-conditioned ones have a departure time, the non-air-conditioned ones leave whenever they are full.. Don’t worry if it’s a dollar right away, it fills up instantly ?
And bags are not put in the trunk without air conditioning.. Everyone takes their bags with them. As you can see, the inside of the bus is a mess.
Our bus journey took three and a half hours from stop to stop.. We bought our tickets for the 13.30 expedition as soon as we landed at the Hagnaya ferry terminal.. Ticket fee is PHP 170, port tax is PHP 10.
After 2 more hours of travel, we finally dock at Santa Fe Pier on Bantayan Island.

The town is about 500 meters from Santa Fe pier. Almost all hotels have a pick-up service. However, we reached the town on foot, since we did not arrange our hotel in advance and we did not want to lose money to the jackals waiting at the pier.
